Perfect Pairings for Pain Relief

Kelly’s Suggested Pairings for Pain Relief

You may be wondering why we bothered to add new services during our recent move and expansion. And it’s a good question! We could have used all that extra space to do more of what we’re already great at: Massage.

Owner of Be Well Bodyworks, Kelly, standing behind the front desk. A glowing sauna and cold plunge with white boxes and text overlaid. Text reads, "Massage & Contrast Therapy: Muscle Soreness, Stress, Circulation, Inflammation, Joint Stiffness. Massage & Red Light Therapy: Deep Joint Pain, Nerve Pain, Stress, Inflammation, Limited Mobility."

Though we did add an extra massage room (yay for more massage availability), I also wanted to introduce services that compliment massage as a tool for pain relief, stress management, enhanced mobility, longevity, and an overall healthy lifestyle.

Massage is an incredible modality. The tangible impact massage has on clients’ quality of life has kept me in this industry for 25 years. What I’ve learned is that the people who feel their best, are regularly supporting their bodies between massage sessions with additional forms of services and care. I myself find great support for inflammation in regular cold plunging, and relief from stress in morning meditation.

Massage & Red Light Therapy

If you have limited mobility, joint pain, or sensitivity that makes deep tissue work uncomfortable, red light therapy would be a great addition to your massage services. Red light therapy is a passive treatment that requires no exertion. The red light bed at Be Well reaches deep tissues and joints for pain relief and repair, helpful for chronic pain and arthritis.

Massage & Contrast Therapy

If you live a very active lifestyle, experience high levels of stress, or are recovering from an injury, contrast therapy would be a perfect pairing to your massage services. Contrast Therapy (alternating between sauna and cold plunge) helps to reduce muscle soreness after exercise or deep tissue massage. It promotes circulation, reducing inflammation and improving metabolic waste removal. It also promotes a sense of presence and calm.

Our goal is the same as it has always been: to help you feel better. I hope you’ll find our new services are the perfect complement to your massage therapy routine.

Warmly,
Kelly Hander
Owner
