Here’s how to get started:

  1. See your doctor and request a referral for massage therapy.

  2. We’ll contact your insurance to request authorization once we receive the referral.

  3. Sessions are goal-oriented and focused on rehabilitation and return-to-function.

Will Insurance Cover Massage Therapy?

It depends on your plan. While Be Well Bodyworks is not in-network with most major providers, many clients use insurance and massage therapy together through:

  • Workers’ Compensation (with a referral and authorization)

  • Out-of-network reimbursement (with a superbill)

  • FSA/HSA funds (accepted at time of payment)

We recommend checking with your insurance provider and getting a referral from your doctor. Most companies require a diagnosis code and to qualify for reimbursement. Licensed Massage Therapists do not diagnose or prescribe. Our team is happy to provide the paperwork you need to submit your claim.

Auto Accident Massage Claims

We are not accepting auto accident cases that require direct billing to auto insurance or PIP (personal injury protection).

We provide receipts in the office for you to submit for reimbursement if permitted by your insurer.
