Amanda, Licensed Massage Therapsit

Biography:
Amanda, a therapist with 21 years of experience, graduated at the top of her class from the IBMC in 2004 and in 2008 earned an Associate's Degree in Massage with honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Her career began with a chiropractor, where she specialized in medical, orthopedic, and sports massage. The highlight of her career is when she joined a physical therapy group, working with two professional sports teams: the Rocky Mountain Rage (CHL) and the Colorado 14ers (NBA D-League). This experience refined her skills and broadened her comfort level working on various medical conditions. She excels at recommending stretching and self-care to maximize post-session benefits. Her ideal client is someone interested in improving their massage results, maintaining an open mind about using less pressure, and integrating specialized techniques to their session to enhance their wellness journey. This includes the at home safe-care suggestions to increase the relief between sessions, and as always incorporating good hydration in their daily routine. Amanda’s integrative approach tailors each session to the client's individual needs, balancing therapeutic and relaxation techniques to promote the mind-body connection. In addition to her specialties mentioned above, her training includes myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, stretching, deep tissue techniques, cupping, Swedish massage, reflexology, and trigger point therapy. During her leisure time, she enjoys photography, cooking and baking, gardening, crafting, and spending time with loved ones.
