She has experience in Swedish massage, Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapy, Shiatsu, Sports Massage, Energy work, Reflexology, Hot Stone massage, and Aromatherapy. Cara is deeply interested in determining the causes of pain and is passionate about helping anyone who is experiencing it. She strongly believes that the power of simply being present with a client, combined with skilled therapeutic touch, can truly help them move through life’s difficulties with ease and grace. People have described her as having an outstanding “quality of touch” and clients often say her massage style is very grounding and healing. Cara has been an athlete all her life, participating in gymnastics, soccer, snowboarding, and more. This has given her an understanding of the toll an active lifestyle can take on the body. Her desire to learn about and care for her own body, along with her compassionate nature and eagerness to help others, are what lead her to the natural and holistic path of massage therapy. In her free time, she enjoys photography, pottery, cooking and baking, snowboarding, and hiking and camping with her partner, Blake, and two dogs, Scarlett and Matheson.
